Thats right folks, as most of us guessed would happen months ago when the preliminary bouts of message board shittalk first began, the self proclaimed pvp guild Death's Imperial Entourage headed by our previous steering wheel to bluebiedom and soap opera style drama of untold proportions has tucked tail and run to another server.

Today, approximately 16 hours before the world of warcraft servers are scheduled to open DIE declared that instead of the server both guilds agreed to meet on to settle what was shaping up to be the biggest grudge match between guilds in mmorpg history, that they would instead be running off to Illidan to fight unknown and unorganized vapor guilds.

For the past 2 weeks it has been agreed upon that both Darkenbane and DIE would be playing on Archimonde, the server designated by the majority of the pvp community.

Now however, as game time approaches sudden concerns over "lag" and "waiting to log on" have arisen. None of the other guilds seem to be overly concerned with this, for a number of specific and straightforward reasons, all of which have been expressed in this thread:

http://www.die-guild.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2459&start=15

Anyone who knows anything about Grayrage, DIE or the other guilds on the Archimonde list know the real reasons however.

The simple truth of the matter is that Grayrage knows he can not compete with the big dogs, and does not want to embarass himself with his army of assclowns. He knows that his guild will merely be a feeder guild for the good guilds on the alliance faction, that his guild will be overshadowed by the other alliance guilds, and most importantly he knows he will be annihilated by every non newbie guild on the horde side.

So in typical fashion Grayrage, and along with him his guild of bi weekly rotated members, remains the biggest joke of the online pvp community.

You're slipping Gray, you used to at least show up to the fight.

Edit: Toad has just created on Archimonde -- see you ingame. Sar-

Comon Darwoth...

I expect this type of propaganda in Meter's country, but not here from you! Lots of guilds have been concerned about lag problems and many are making a switch out of Archimonde...mine included.

You stole my post!
Also, the SiN thread is a great laugh, that certainly backfired eh Grayrage? and Malig, you haven't been talking for months on end how you will absolutely destroy us and the whole pvp server, and then move to where the competition isn't.

Bluff called. I think Grayrage truly expets people to move with him, as if his guild meant something. Has he not played any other MMORPGs? There's always a loud during beta/never heard from again guild. This time its his guild. What a shame... what a shame.

Malignancy,

I went through great pains talking to Bone and Gray about settling on a server and then once we all confirm it, DiE up and changes their mind. Now if anything can be said about that, it could be that they are afraid of lag or they are just straight out pussies. I could care less. However, what is ironic here is that they are calling us pussies after THEY BAILED and expect us to see eye to eye on the lag issue? No guild in the history of mmorpg's is worth following anywhere. We want the competition, we believe it will be on Archimonde, and hopefully that is where we will go. Darwoth's post is in response to DIE's bullshit drama as usual -- it is never the other way around. I don't see how you can stand the guy Malig, he's full of pure bs and is a drama timebomb. I just have no clue...

He does expect people to follow him, the same bluebies that followed him into forming his fodder guild.

May I be so bold as to propose a RoflCopter?

I do believe I will!

my favorite response is the one from Pantano

D, Its got nothing to do with my tastes, it has to do with professionalism between 2 guilds and nothing more.We show our class and you show your ass....
I hope for future posts that your not the speaker for your guild. D, dont think Im trying to flame you, Im just trying to make a point. I'll leave the flaming for lemming lovers like Ministry Laughing
Pants
I guess having them change their minds last minute and bail out on a deal makes darwoth an ass :(

I'm really not defending Gray on this issue; personally, if it was me I would have stayed on Archimonde, particularly because of the pissing contest between DB and DIE that has been ongoing for many months now. My point however is, I could understand his issues with Archimonde and his reasoning for moving his guild. We had the same discussions with my guild BEFORE I even heard that Gray had the same concerns. For that reason, I really don't think that he chose to move his guild out of that server because of any "fear" of DB or other guilds.

For my guild, we all realize that we are older games now and don't have the time to commit as we once did. Many of us have real lives that take away from our gaming (unfortunately :P). We therefore decided that we really have nothing to prove to anyone, and we problably won't be expanding to be one of the zerg/powergamer guilds, so we really didn't give a shit about moving. So what if we don't make the press; we just wanted to kill people with the same people we've been killing with for years.

P.S. I think that was the first "civil" correspondence that Saradin and I have ever had :P

We moved to another server and I have a lot of lag, 45 min queues and have gotten booted 3 times so far today....I find it hard to believe that Archmonde isn't having similar if not great problems...

We did actually Malig. To begin with, it was ok, but this morning the server got really fucked. Got kicked off every 30 minutes and so forth. They took it down about 4 hours ago and now everything is running problem free.

You are missing my point though. If they wanted to move servers for whatever reason, I would not have publicly flamed them for it whatsoever. What ticked me off is THEY pulled off the premiere pvp server and had the nerve to CALL US pussies if we didn't follow. They left for their own reasons and have no business putting it on us. Only reason they tried to reverse the roles is b/c they rejected our challenge, due to their own reasons, so tried to fight on their terms. Sorry no. I'm surprised you didn't see this. Classic Grayrage spin and I probably would have gone for it if I didnt know the alliance competition on Archimonde was 100 fold better.

That's what I have problems with. We don't give a shit and the world does not revolve around their subpar guild. Maybe one day they will learn that.

IF lag really is an issue like everyone says i wont even install this game.Im not waiting an hour to log in.You guys chose in advance to use a server that became overcrowded changing servers would be the smartest while the game is still new.IF you guys dont wanna move then let it die no sense wasting energy fighting with someone you cant meet in game.

But doesn't this stuff happen with pretty much every online game release? I can't think of an online game that was released and worked properly without needing at least a few weeks and a bunch of emergency patches to just run stable.

I'm sort of glad I'm not starting WoW for a few weeks as I can watch how the dominoes fall (ie DIE wussing out, server instability and queues, etc) THEN start playing.

I think everyone is taking these startup issues a bit too seriously. I remember starting on Sullon Zek the day it opened and it was as slow as a motherfucker, and that was when everquest was actually stable.
