The release of World of Warcraft has been exactly the same as every other game release so far.

Not even close to smooth.

The most populated server have been up and down, ours included. Sometimes everything works perfectly, sometimes nothing works. Currently a handful of servers are down with no eta, and hopefully they will be 100% fixed when they come up. A few of us have been making chars on other servers to kill the time, and although most are up, we haven't been on a server that runs problem free.

But I really don't mind. We have waited about 2 years for this game, and waiting another day won't kill me, because I know what I'm waiting for.

This IS the server where the best guilds, the best pvp and the most people on. It's already being called the "hard core" server and for good reason, because when people mention WoW pvp, they will mention this server. Stratics already did their first interview with an Archimonde guild leader and that's a pretty good symbol of how important this server is.

So have patience, killing will come.

Updated parts SIN's interview (all for fun) :

<Arkons> Sinister is almost guaranteed to be a substantial force on the server ... But what specifically is going to make you guys the dominating force on the pvp server?

<BoneDancr> Basically our plan is to move to a different server, that way we can never be PK'd! OMG LOL!!11!

<Arkons> Who do you feel will be your biggest competition out of the guilds that have already pledged to be fighting against you?

<BoneDancr> There aren't any other people on our server so I don't know... Onyxia? Dragonz are sweet (OMG LOL!!111)

<Arkons> Who on your own side (Alliance) do you think will be the most influential?

<BoneDancr> Profession Trainers, class trainers and quest giver-outers. (LO!L!OGOGOMG!11)

<Arkons> What is it about WoW pvp that appeals to you and your guild?

<BoneDancr> PvP is SCARY!! (OM GLOLGOLOLOL!!!11!) Hence why we ducked out. Wait, this interview is about PvP?

<Arkons>How much of a factor do you think PvE will be in WoW; for example do you foresee any problems like you did on Sullon Zek with Ruin because of being outleveled and out geared?

<BoneDancr> PvE will play a huge factor since that's all we'll be doing now. We look forward to killing the 1's and 0's on Blizzard's servers.

<Arkons> Do you think WoW will be the new EQ. I.E. will it be the game that people really play again rather than being another burn out alla Shadowbane, L2 etc. etc.? And if yes, what makes it so?

<BoneDancr> At least for the free trial as far as my guild's concerned LOL!!1!OMG!! WTF ROFL LA~ BLARG.
