Sunday at around 2pm pst, Darkenbane launched the first massive pvp attack on the server targetted at Duskwood. Rolling 25-30 total members deep, we organized in Ogrimmar, passed through STV, and crossed the bridge into southern Duskwood for what would soon render this zone unplayable for the alliance for almost 2 hours. The plan was to sweep west and take out the graveyard forcing them to regroup in town while we hit every field on the way towards Darkshire to see what awaited us.

After slaughtering the graveyard and crypt area and the surrounding quest fields, we began to push east towards Darkshire. While we were always on the move picking off people here and there, we wanted to see who our competition was and if they were coming so we gave the alliance ample time to regroup and force a counterattack -- a courtesy that will probably never be extended by Darkenbane again. We got the response we wanted but unfortunately due to 100+ people being in a small area, lag, disconnects, and deaths, we lost half our force and got pushed back to the STV bridge. After our regrouping, the rest was a landslide. For the next hour and a half, the alliance repeatedly fell at our feet from the top of the hill all the way down to the outskirts of Darkshire. Everytime we reached that point, we retreated back to the hill brushing off guards and letting them resurrect only to knock them out again!

Eventually we grew bored as the alliance gave up. With the women and children hiding in the town while their men logged off to cry and reapply the lube, we figured we'd make an attempt at the town! Well, we finally met our competition and unfortunately it was not in the form of any player but rather the everspawning guards of the Night Watch. It definitely stopped us from holding the town but it did not stop us from killing plenty inside. At the end of the day, we had to retreat from npc's and hearthed out to get back to the grind.

So where is the competition? It may be too early to tell but there was no organized force there that could oppose us and we just steamrolled everyone. Are the big dogs going to come out and at least hit back or will this be a one sided server? Show up to the fight next time plz thx~
